You know the site is quite inactive lately when we even don't have a thread for this season! What did you all think? We did not even get intros. I kind of knew Tyson would win since episode 1, but was fooled by the editors that Ciera had a chance.

I think this season, was really just too obvious on who the winner was going to be.
I mean, on one hand, Tyson did play the better game, but on the other hand, I really just didn't like him at all.
Monica had plenty of opportunities to make a big move, and she could have gained respect from the jury. I don't believe Tina would have won over Monica, since the jury rewarded the player who made moves. Therefore, if Tina was on RI half of the merge, they wouldn't have thought she played a good strategic game.
I do wish Tina had made it to the finals though.
Does Tina have the record for the most days playing Survivor yet?

I doubt it. Some of the 3-timers (Amanda Kimmel for one) for sure beat her. I think the record goes to Boston Rob, who played 4 times and made finals twice.
I don't think Monica would have won over Tina. Tina had friends (and family) on the Jury (Aras, Vytas, Katie, Laura). That's half already. You know Gervase would vote for Tyson no matter what, so that leaves Monica with 3 votes, not enough to win.
I thought Tyson was likable this time around. We can probably blame the editors for that. LOL.

When it comes to Tyson, he may have played a somewhat villainous game, but he never took it to a personal level. I have a feeling that if he was betrayed, he would applaud the person who did it as being a good move. I respected that attitude from Tyson: "This is a game and we do what we need to win."
Gervase played a really sloppy game. His mouth got his niece voted out and then his mouth got Ciera to flip and forced Tyson to draw rocks. His opinion of his own game was too high.
Monica was annoying and super-paranoid. I'm happy she didn't win cause she didn't make any moves to win.
Ciera was disappointing cause she figured out that she needed to make a move 1 round too late.

I don't think Tyson played a personal game, but his attitude just irked me way too much.
The whole "your seat's over there" thing to Katie? Don't make comments like that and then say you aren't making things personal.
