Welcome everyone to the penultimate Survival Challenge.
For this challenge, we'll be doing a challenge I've seen come up in quite a few games. It's called Sword, Shield, Restock.
Normally, this challenge is done with more players, but I've made a few modifications to make it suit 4 players and not last only two rounds.
For this challenge, you will need to send me a preference list of moves that you would like to make in this challenge. Each round, you can either:
Sword *Name*
Shield
Restock
Only one of those three options for every round.
Once I have everyone's lists in, we will then go down the lists each round making the moves.
If you Sword someone and they do not use a Shield that round and do not Sword you back that same round, then that player loses a hit point. If that player that you Sword does use a Shield or has chosen to Sword you that round, then no damage is done.
For example, if Carrie sent in the following as her preference list:
Sword abbrev
Sword abbrev
Shield
Restock
And abbrev sent this in as his preference list:
Sword Carrie
Sword Allen
Shield
Sword Carrie
Then in the first round, Carrie and abbrev will Sword each other, so neither does any damane. The next round, Carrie Swords abbrev, but abbrev is busy Swording someone else, so abbrev loses a Hit Point. The following round, both Carrie and abbrev are using Shields, so neither sustains any damage that round. Then in the fourth round, Carrie is restocking her Shield when abbrev attacks her, so carrie would lose a Hit Point.
You can make your preference list as long or as short as you want to make it. Once I reach the bottom of your preference list, I'll just go back to the top of it and repeat your moves again.
Some random things you should know about this challenge:
- Each player will have 3 Hit Points. Once you have run out of Hit Points, you are out of the challenge.
- You only have 1 Shield at a time. Once you use your Shield, you must Restock before you can use your Shield again.
- You have unlimited uses of your Sword. You never need to restock that.
The last player left standing will win Immunity and be guaranteed a spot in the Final 3.
In the event that we reach a stalemate with the players in the chalenge (meaning no matter how far along we go in the lists, no one will be losing HP, anymore), then the player with the most HP come the stalemate will win Immunity. If that doesn't break the tie, then the player who dealt the most damage to other players will win the tiebreaker. If that still doesn't somehow break the tie, then nobody wins Immunity.
You have until tomorrow at 11pm (eastern) to complete this challenge.
