Welcome everyone to a combined Scavenger/Survival Challenge. Since this challenge is not time-sensitive and it's ready and typed up early, I am just going to post it now.
For this challenge, I want you to take the following tiles and rearrange them into as many different words as you can within a 15-minute time period:
You can only use each tile once per word, they must be in the American dialect of English (sorry fans of the letter "u" in words like color
), you may not repeat words, and no proper nouns (like John or Erin).
You will do this in your confessional and every word will need to be in a different post. Once you make your first post, time will begin and you will have 15 minutes to make as many words as you can. This means that if you post your first word at 10:04pm, then your final post will be at 10:18pm cause your time will stop right at 10:19pm.
For every 3 letter word you post, you will earn 1 point.
For every 4 letter word you post, you will earn 2 points.
For every 5 letter word you post, you will earn 3 points.
For every 6 letter word you post, you will earn 4 points.
For every 7+ letter word you post, you will earn 5 points.
The player who manages to score the most points with their words in that 15-minute window will win immunity.
In the event of a tie, then the player who scored the most points in the first 14 minutes will win. If that doesn't break the tie, the player who scored the most points in the first 13 minutes. We will keep rolling back the minutes like that until the tiebreaker is broken.
Now, as for the Scavenger part of this challenge. The player who posts the most words in that 15 minute time period will win a reward. It does not matter how many letters are in each word for the reward. You just have to have the most words. The tiebreakers for the reward will work like the tiebreakers for immunity.
You have until tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11:59pm (eastern) to finish this challenge. I work tomorrow night, so this is about when I'll get home. That's a little over 24 hours away.
