Not sure whether to write these confessionals in character or not, since this game seems so story-driven, lol.... well, I hope you enjoy reading my journal no matter what Jeff.

My first impression heading into this game is I'm slightly nervous because there are a lot of players (19!) and I don't recognize hardly any of these names. However, right away, Ghostface revealed to me he is Splatt, and he said something about a veteran alliance. Which I think is a good idea, except probably most of us are veterans with just a lot of ghostnics around. So I'm not sure how true-to-form this "veteran alliance" is going to be, but whatever, I told Splatt I'd like to ally with him. I then contacted smthee, who is a consummate player and someone I recognized from both KotH and Philippines. I told him that I'd like to work with him, should circumstances permit. He agreed with me, so hopefully I'll end up with one of those two on my team, we'll see.

I completed the challenge in 6 minutes. Kicking myself, because I could've done it faster, but whatever, I'm pretty confident I'll end up with one of the fastest times. Didn't go for any supplies, a bit risky, but I hope it will pay off.

Not ready to make a boot list yet because I barely know like 90% of these people.

Also, Carrie is annoying.

Bill Clinton has disappeared, so we're already down to 18.

I made it in to Bunker 1 with one of the top 5 fastest times which is very encouraging. It also means I got immunity for the round, so I'm guaranteed in to the final 17.

My tribe is myself, Abbrev, Allen, Carrie, and Honey Boo Boo. My first impression was shoot, I'm on a tribe with Carrie... and Honey Boo Boo will potentially be annoying too. Abbrev and Allen, I have no idea who they are, but I messaged them, so hopefully they'll be sane. Not sure which people I want to align with just yet. I'm concerned about Carrie because she's definitely active, but she's also really out there, which makes her a target. I could use that to my advantage I guess, but it also worries me to have someone like her as an ally. :/ But perhaps it's too early to be thinking about that. For now, I just want to keep winning challenges.

BioDork, Ghostface, smthee28, and inghenyero ended up on a tribe together which seriously concerns me because I KNOW for a fact Ghostface is trying to arrange a veteran's alliance and all of those people are veterans, which means we may be seeing a new Matsing 5 in Bunker 3. Something to keep an eye on. At least there's only 4 of them... and inghenyero may still have a bad reputation after he completely disappeared in King of the Hill. We'll see what happens. Bunker 3 is a VERY STRONG TRIBE though just looking at who's on it, so they'll definitely be a factor in this game.

Bunker 2 and Bunker 4, I have no idea who those people are. Bunker 4 will probably not be much to worry about because they're kind of the loser bunker anyway. Hopefully they stay that way, we need some fodder to get ahead in a game like this. Bunker 2 will be a bit more threatening because they succeeded in the challenge and there are 5 of them (instant numbers should they win challenges and stick together), plus they gave up a shot of immunity which says something about them as players for sure. Definitely potential threats there.

Anyway, that's all my thoughts for now, I think I can make a first boot list. Looking forward to getting this game rolling.

For the record, I think Fast5 is a horrendous bunker name, but I'm going with it just because I don't want to ruffle any feathers this early and I want Carrie to like me.

It looks like 2 bunkers are going to TC this round! That means I'm guaranteed in to the Final 16! Woohoo!

Bunker 4 still has 0 posts from members in their camp, I think it's safe to say they are going to lose the challenge. If I had to guess, I'd say Bunker 3 will get immunity based on who's in the tribe, but we'll see.
