HouseGuests, the coaches have made a decision.... * scroll down * THE RESET BUTTON HAS BEEN kicked and maligned, but the coaches did not push the reset button. The game continues as normal with 4 coaches. Either Bobert or Skateboard Tom will be evicted tomorrow. Some evicted HouseGuests will return next week. How many? I will not tell you. Since the show didn't give us any idea on how many to bring back, I will use my judgment. Thank you coaches for basically giving me the power to do anything that I want.  We are threading on uncharted waters everyone. May the BB gods have mercy on us. (Please check the Weekly Picks thread for an important announcement.) |

So much for being an on-season game that follows the show. If we were following the show why was SEG not polled to to see if the coaches could have this power, just like America was?

Actually, if you think about it, if SEG says "no, don't offer the chance to the coaches", then we're at exactly the same scenario right now, coaches keep playing as coaches. If SEG says yes, that's what I already did, I offered them the chance. So you're suggestion doesn't change anything at all.

True. I just don't feel like we are actually following the show now - but I see why this will be tricky for you, I don't envy you trying to figure this out. It's just if there are no coaches competitions in the show, and saving people etc, I'm not sure its fair to do it here. Also, are you keeping the same rule that if all the coaches players get knocked out they are out too - because that also might put you in lower number trouble. Some of the coaches only have one person left, so you could accidentally have a double eviction.
Just my evicted thoughts.

^^Well, a double eviction would solve the issue of the Fast Forward weeks. Maybe either have all 5 evicted houseguests return and don't count the coaches in the people playing (with their coaches' prize be an extra HII for a Survivor game or sth)? Maybe have panties & Skateboard be the first 2 members of the jury? idk |

I was hoping one of our coaches would press the button, but I *may* have an idea why they didn't. Personally, I think this will blow up on one of the coaches faces. I'm pretty sure if no coaches on the show pressed the button then they'll continue the coaches competition, but probably only until Final 6 or final 5. Certainly not forever. Since coaches are not counted as players, I don't have to worry about them getting knocked out of the game. The only concern is to try to match up the number of players on the show with the players in our game. I will deal with it next week. I don't want to give up the number of players returning in the game next week because I don't want the coaches planning in advance. I also mapped out the number of players per week until the Finale using the schedule in the last season, and I think I've figured it out. |

I think SEG should have been polled (as a whole). That would have been the perfect solution/scenario for America's Vote. Seems pretty simple.
