I've looked at the cast video and apparently Colton Cumbie? Cumble? Is an org'er. I have a friend that hosted him in a mini before and said he's the biggest d'bag / sore loser ever.

Really?? Go Colton! lol.. And I read from RNO (realitynewsonline.com)'s recap of the video that Colton could be a villain this season. Or something. *checks* www.realitynewsonline.com/cgi-bin/ae.pl?mode=1&article=article13278.art&page=1Colton Cumbie Age: 21 (the youngest player this season) Current Residence: Monroeville, Ala. Occupation: College Student (and also a gay Republican who Probst says could be this season’s villain)

What do you all think of the episode? I loved it! Loved the chaos. Loved the whining lol. Loved the stealing, cheating, backstabbing! And it's just the first episode! It's like one of those cheap, train-wreck-like, trashy reality shows, but instead of random over-the-top drama, it's random over-the-top drama with people getting voted off! And I think this is the most beautiful (prettiest?) cast ever. It's like they cast wannabe actors/actresses and put them in an unscripted soap opera. The good thing about it is that usually these type of people don't know how the game is played, and therefore they'll be "themselves" and wouldn't avoid drama. Maybe I miss that kind of Survivor, after back-to-back seasons of being strategy-centric.

I have to say Jaypee... I could not... disagree with you more.
I was disappointed last night. I felt it was too much whinning. I am sorry but the women are already getting on my nerves... and Colton.. oh please he needs to get the boot quick. I know he won't cause they showed too much of him early on. I also wish there was a real tribal council, but you can not do anything about a doodoo not following directions.

I liked the episode, but Alicia really bothered me. She just jumped to the conclusion that Christina was making alliances with the men just because she wanted fire....

Women... I mean I'm not exactly surprised on how its turning out, but it's really interesting cause I'm reminded of Amazon which was coincidently dominated by... The Amazons. This group of guys is meshing a whole lot more than that group and usually the beginning of the game is more benefiting of testosterone. The only difference is these guys aren't interested in clashing because they can put their competition with the women in the front of their minds due to them being litteraly right there.
The only issue I see blocking a complete male domination of this game is the male ego. A man is a whole lot more prone to an ego than a woman and that is exactly when you get your chopped off in Survivor. This group of men is hugely on male ego alert. If I were a women I'd feed their ego right now so they'll fall. Unfortantly, like most women working together doesn't seem like any remote possibility any time soon. Lots of meow moments here and it looks like its about to get much worse! Oh boy! This is gonna be a fun season!
Alright I'll try to make it back at least weekly because I really wanna discuss the show with y'all and hear what you all have to say.

I really enjoyed this weeks show. Having everyone on the same beach changes up the dynamics alot. After 36 days of living together, I can guarantee that if its Men in the finals, there will be plenty of questions asked about why the men felt the need to deprive the females of any sort of good will, period. (yeah, I get it, keep your enemies weak, blah blah blah)
One of my favorite quotes is that "people will forget what you said and people will forget what you did, but a person never forgets the way you've made them feel" Seems to me that the men are making "the Russel" strategy take precedence. Nothing matters but getting to the end of the game and no emphasis on how you're going to get there. Cliche as well on this quote, but you never get a second chance to make a first impression and I don't anyone took advantage of that, with the exception of Colton.
It's way early I know. LOL.
I can't wait for next weeks episode.

I was bummed to see Courtney break her wrist I always like the quirky underdogs for the most part and I would have liked to see her stick around.
