2 weeks in... yeah let's not talk about the show! lol I was hoping to come on here and see some posts and jump in on the convo, but alas nothing to see here...

Sorry! All I wanted to say was who I think was the winner based on gut feel, but I don't want to spoil anyone. I mean, I came close with my gut pick in Nicaragua (Sash), so I do think I may have something here.
Bah, not like I will get it right this time lol! BUT... I got a gut feeling that Stacey will win this season, and that was based on the first episode. After seeing episode 2 not sure if she'll actually make merge lmao. But if I get it right then yay!
I only like a few people in the cast and some are still invisible to me (Whitney??). And Brandon is weird.

No way will Stacy win this season. She was called Parvati by someone on the second round. Despite, how ridiculous the claim was the word was put out there and being called Parvati is a compliment. Parvati is one of the best players to have ever played and she isn't even on that level. Poor Stacy got typecast to a role she doesn't even fit and it's gonna bite here probably before the merge.
Honestly, if I had to choose based on first two weeks it's going to come down again to one of the returning experienced players. Coach, everyone has been hazy on him, but everyone loves Ozzy plus Ozzy has an idol. This is Ozzy's game to lose. That's what happens when you bring people back against first time players. C'mon now. It's no argument.

After tonight I want Brandon out! He is SOOOOO annoying! Enough God talk please!
After seeing Makalyla cry I have a soft spot for her and would love to see her make it far. Other favorites include Sophie, Dawn, and Keith(he seems smarter than I thought he would be)
Papa Bear, after being hyped so much the first eisode turned into a major disappointment

I forgot, but was anyone ever had the weirdest nickname as Papa Bear? I was anticipating Jeff saying "Papa Bear, the tribe has spoken" if he'll actually say it, because it sounds so ... SEG! lol I mean, that's normal to us, we had lilbear, IgnoreTehTypo, Bubba-Bear, so Papa Bear just looks normal in SEG but not on the real show. I can't wait for future nicknames on the show. Maybe if one of you get on, you should force them to call you your SEG nickname!  Brandon's a little frustrating. I think he's still new to the Christianity thing so that's why he's not comfortable yet with temptations. Reminds me of that character in Twilight who was new to being a vampire that he sometimes can't help it when he smells blood. He needs to realize that being a Christian doesn't necessarily mean being away from temptations but it's about FACING it and FIGHTING against it. I do think he's got the hots for Mikayla lol that's why he's uncomfortable around her. I agree, this is Ozzy's game to lose. He's in a good position right now and he seems ok with his social game, although not sure what happens next week, that preview seems to suggest Ozzy's going to lose control of his tribe. |

LOL Cook ur right, Brandon is nutzo! I like Mikayla too, but I don't see any realistic future for her. I also agree with JP. Very new to the faith indeed and he's afraid of his own attraction to Mikayla.
SEG nicknames on the real show? LOL! JP ur a nut just for that! Honestly, papa bear is not as crazy as it may sound. That's a legit nickname, after all isn't Coach a nickname? The man's name is Benjamin. If I did it I'd prob call myself D or D-Money since that's how I'm known professionally anyways. Cook would you use Cook, I'm curious?
I think it's all hype on the Ozzy overthrow. Cochran is scrambling for not being the next one to go. The preview is just showing that.

No I don't think I would go by Cook, unless Jeff just started calling me that naturally, I'd prob just go by Andy and I agree with you JP, the Papa Bear nickname made me feel somewhat uncomfortable, it is a bit awkward.
Really liking this season and loving that there are players in this season that are both entertaining and seem like real game players that won't be controlled like during last season Redemption Island Rob v Russell

I actually liked all the Coach zen moments, but seems the producers are dead set on casting Brandon as the "crazy" one. It's a completley different type of crazy too because he doesn't know what he's doing and is trying WAY too hard to set an example. If Brandon wants to at least make the merge he's going to have to just play his game and stop trying to say something with it.

Our first official blindside I would say.....but what were Keith and Whitney thinking? By voting for Dawn they totally exposed themselves as a pair. I'm not saying it wasn't obvious already but they voted separately from both sides was silly. Ozzy may be a little slow with strategy but it's clear by the previews that their attempt to pander to him probably didn't work. Also, by voting together they just put themselves in the same spot as Ozzy and Elyse....an obvious inseparable pair that needs to be broken apart.
I officially want Dawn to win this game, she is a great, but I doubt she will. Oh, and if I have to see Brandon break down one more time I may puke. Most annoying character in recent history. Someone who has a very poor sense of self and is pretty much a hypocrite. This is I guess a dig, but his gameplay reminds me very much of how our very own Derreck plays. Very similar characters. Sorry Derreck, just an observation.
What's everyone else thinking?

And by not choosing a side they burned the bridges on BOTH those sides. Ozzy won't trust them. The trio won't trust them either. Amateurs. As for Brandon, I just feel sorry for him now. On the sillier side of things: that was a disgusting challenge. It reminded me of The Walking Dead at some parts lol. (New season premiering this Sunday on AMC). And they get to eat it? Actually, it doesn't seem too disgusting if you imagine yourself starving for 12 days and then being offered meat. |

About Brandon... I hate to say it, but I think your right Cook lol. Derreck, as a player always wants to set a standard, but always seemed to struggle with his own strategy fitting that platform when the game made him rethink it. I mean, I agree with the platform, its a great way to play the game and your going to be popular doing it, but really though everyone should just play their game. Brandon is letting the situation turn him into an emotional wreck though and the game really just started. I think he really needs to talk to Coach about getting centered, seriously. All the crying and all that seems geniune like it's not an act, but seriously this guy needs to get his cohones together and just do him.

i hope that ozzy's plan will not work out well for him and that Cochran's plan DOES work out well for him. my sight/ thinking /typing may be a little fuzzy right now but I am clear about that thought. note: i do not know how to hide text for people who do not want to read something that could possibly spoil - like the old spoiler button one could use. is it this? It's the shocked face smiley on the right side, under Colors  Personally, I want Ozzy's plan to work. He's been wrong a lot of times and I think he needs to be right at least once in his Survivor career. And Coach is "always" right so he needs to be knocked off his pedestal in this game. If Ozzy doesn't make the merge then I think Coach will run the game and ultimately win, so I want Ozzy to make the merge. And it'll be great to see both Coach and Ozzy against each other at the merge. |

He's so smug and arrogant with his whole going to RI thing, it'd just be kinda funny if it backfires :X
But then again a merge matchup of Ozzy and Coach would be fun too.
